We read something together and then meet to talk about it — over coffee, and at length. The book is available in the shop if you need a copy.

The next title is A History of Burning by Janika Oza, on Saturday 12 September, 10am–12pm.

Work on the walls in the gallery

Art openings and exhibitions

The work on the walls changes with the exhibition programme, and the gallery doubles as the room where readings and launches happen. New shows and opening evenings are announced here and on Instagram.

We also run workshops and readings with people we like working with — writing, printing, and whatever else is worth an afternoon.

How booking works

Every event is booked and paid for in advance. A place is not held otherwise, and events that do not fill are not guaranteed to run.

If you cannot come, tell us and we will credit the value of your place against anything here — coffee, a book, another event, or a library membership. The full terms are on our returns page.
