Book Club
KSh 1,100 per person
We read something together and then meet to talk about it — over coffee, and at length. The book is available in the shop if you need a copy.
The next title is The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, on Saturday 10 October, 10am–12pm.
The one after is The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri, on Saturday 14 November, 10am-12pm.
Both mornings open with a writing hour at 9am — a prompt-led session at the Writer's Table — then the book club itself from 10am to 12pm. One booking covers both.
Writers' Table
KSh 800 per person
A prompt-led writing hour, mid morning on a Wednesday. We write from a prompt, and talk about what comes up if you'd like to. No experience needed, and nothing has to be read aloud.

Grounds for Conversation
Every Sunday, 10am–12pm · KSh 1,500 per person
Brew & Unload. Learn to make a proper cup while you talk through your week. Mirriam listens; the coffee does the rest.
Art exhibits & workshops
The work on the walls changes with the exhibition programme, and the gallery doubles as the room where readings, launches and workshops happen.
On now: Singing in the Rain — new work by Samuel Muriithi, until 8 November.
Imaginative Sketching — Saturday 7 November, 3–5pm. Samuel leads a workshop on thumbnail sketching: quick, small drawings to plan a composition, rather than step-by-step copying. KSh 3,500.

How booking works
Every event is booked and paid for in advance. A place is not held otherwise, and events that do not fill are not guaranteed to run.
